Rubí (Vallès Occidental) awards its athletes. The Municipal Theater The Hall will host a new edition of the Sports Night, next Wednesday May 3. The gala will be divided into two parts.
In the first place, the Rubeo de Oro to about 40 Rubinenses sports entities in recognition of different values, such as their long history in the promotion of women’s sportsits sports and social growth, or its ability to project the name of the city, among others.
In a second block of the gala, the sporting merits achieved in 2021-2022 and around thirty local athletes who have achieved important national and international successes will go on stage to collect their prize.
In this section, a great diversity of disciplines will be represented: table tennis, petanque, aquabike, figure skating, athletics, inline hockey, gymnastics, basketball, water polo, swimming, mountaineering, boxing, soccer and trail running.
The last part of the Sports Night will be reserved for a series of institutional recognitions to outstanding sports careers. Within this blog, a special memory will be dedicated to the members of the Rubí Cycling Club who were run over last summer, to the two people from Rubí who lost their lives while practicing mountaineering in the Carlit, and to the victims of the fire on March 22, the Zaragoza streetalso linked to the world of sport.
The act will be chaired by the mayoress Ana María Martínez and will also have the participation of the Councilor for Sports, Juan Lopez Nunezand the councilor responsible for the Women’s Sports Promotion Program, martha olive martin.
Sports Night will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Municipal Theater The Hall. Among the public, there will be a complete representation of the local sports fabricwho will also have the chance to meet again at a later reception at the Celler.
