Dogecoin (DOGE), the leading cryptocurrency that leads in market capitalization among memecoins, is poised to emerge as one of the most promising cryptocurrencies of 2024. This is due to a series of consecutive gains that align perfectly with the wave of optimism that permeates the cryptocurrency market today.

DOGE is currently showing signs of a possible long-lasting bullish breakout, supported by favorable technical indicators. A relevant observation is the recent bullish crossover between the 50-week moving average (MA) and the 100-week moving average, signaling a potential start of an uptrend.

Cryptocurrency analyst CredibleCrypto on March 1 shared valuable insights, suggesting that DOGE is positioning itself to maintain its recent gains after regaining previously lost price levels. He had previously indicated that a price move above a local low of approximately $0.12 could mark the start of a continuation of the uptrend, with $0.12 acting as crucial support for DOGE’s advance in search of new highs. .

With the recovery from these lows, analysts anticipate that such a move could indicate an increase in buying pressure, potentially maintaining the uptrend with a price objective near $0.16.

However, despite Dogecoin’s positive momentum, the sustainability of this bull trend faces uncertainty, especially due to significant activity from large holders, known as whales.

A notable transaction monitored by Whale Alert on February 28 revealed the movement of over 80 million Dogecoins to Binance, which may suggest possible selling intentions. Such activity could provide a window for profit-taking, potentially adversely influencing DOGE’s recently positive market trajectory.

At the time of publication, the price of NOME was quoted at US$0.1417, up 16% in the last 24 hours.
