Ledger Live recently experienced a temporary failure that affected transactions with the cryptocurrency XRP, as reported by the team behind the project on November 29.

According to the statement released by the company, the failure occurred in the platform’s backend services for XRP. In a note, the team reassured users that funds would not be affected by the detected flaw.

On the platform, the flaw resulted in an impediment for users who intended to add an XRP account or send the token through Ledger Live.

“Hello, XRP users! We have detected an issue with our backend services for XRP. Our team is working on this and looking for a solution. Meanwhile, you may not be able to add an XRP account on Ledger Live or send XRP from Ledger Live. Rest assured, this will not affect your funds – you can connect your Ledger Nano to the XRP Toolkit to view and manage your XRP until we can fix it. We should have an update soon!”, he wrote in the statement.

Today, November 30, the company updated the statement and highlighted that the team has already managed to resolve the problem. The failure must be investigated by the team.

“This incident has been resolved. We have detected an issue with Ledger services for Ripple (XRP) blockchain. This is being investigated by the team”, he highlighted.

At the time of publication, the price of XRP was listed at $0.604227, down 1.2% in the last 24 hours. During this period, the cryptocurrency recorded a trading volume of US$913,673,957.
