According to Digarch, an influential member of the Shiba Inu community, incidences of fraud are increasing, which was highlighted both on X and Discord, where he urged everyone to act with extreme caution.

In a worrying development, DaVinci, another key member of the team, shed light on the sophisticated methods that fraudsters have recently begun adopting. “Fraudulent individuals are launching tokens falsely claiming involvement with Shiba developers and the future of Shibarium,” DaVinci warned. He explained that these bad actors are abusing Shiba’s state and canine code, as well as utilizing the official website, shib.io, to deceptively garner credibility. DaVinci highlighted the need to remain alert and make decisions based on solid information: “The treatment has not yet been launched. Any tokens claiming association with it are frauds.”
