Binance, one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency trading platforms, has announced a significant upgrade for Shiba Inu (SHIB), promoting it from the Innovation Zone to the status of a fully supported asset on its main platform. This change marks an important recognition of the value and stability of the currency, differentiating it from merely speculative assets.

At the time of publication, the price of SHIB was quoted at US$0.00002676, up 4% in the last 24 hours.

Originally included as a high-risk and sensitive asset, SHIB has now surpassed these early stages of maturity, evidencing lasting potential in the cryptocurrency market. Binance’s decision was driven by a meticulous assessment that included criteria such as ethics, responsiveness, development activity, trading volume, liquidity, and network stability.

With the transition to a supported asset, SHIB stands out not only for its increasing burn rate, but also for its increased popularity and utility, driven significantly by the development of Shibarium. The latter is a pivotal point for the Shiba Inu ecosystem, attracting substantial support from the community.

The community of Shiba Inu enthusiasts, however, is not satisfied with the progress already achieved. There is a growing movement pushing for the inclusion of the ShibaSwap protocol’s BONE token on Binance. A campaign on highlights this demand, seeking to facilitate access to the SHIB ecosystem and improve its functionality within the platform.

This development not only consolidates SHIB as a respectable competitor against giants like Ethereum and Bitcoin, but also reflects a significant evolution of its perception in the world of cryptocurrencies. The Shiba Inu’s trajectory suggests a promising future, where its influence and applicability can continue to grow.
