In a strategic move that caught the attention of the cryptocurrency market, Paradigm Capital transferred 3,718 ETH to Anchorage Digital. Taking place in the early hours of Sunday, April 28, this transaction, valued at around US$12 million, marked the first transfer of Ethereum by Paradigm in the last three months, according to Asian crypto journalist Colin Wu.

At the time of the transfer, Paradigm’s portfolio balance was valued at approximately $415 million. However, this value grew quickly, reaching more than US$422 million, driven by an increase in the value of crypto assets.

Arkham Intelligence analysis reveals that Ethereum makes up the majority of Paradigm’s investments, with a staggering balance of 83,518 ETH, which is equivalent to $276.42 million. In addition to Ethereum, Paradigm holds a significant amount of LDO, the native currency of the Lido DAO, with 70 million LDO valued at $146.30 million.

Paradigm’s crypto asset portfolio is diverse, including OP, QWLA, INS, AAA, and BNB. Since 2019, the portfolio has recorded a profit of US$26.53 million. In November 2021, the profit margin reached its peak at US$919 million. However, during the period known as “crypto winter”, this profit plummeted to just US$1.7 million. Currently, there is a notable recovery in the portfolio’s performance.

At the time of publication, the price of ETH was quoted at US$3,286.01, up 5% in the last 24 hours.
