The largest cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, announced on October 19 that it will perform routine wallet maintenance that will affect Ethereum (ETH) deposits and withdrawals on the platform.

In its official statement, Binance informed that it will carry out wallet maintenance for the Ethereum (ERC20) network at 07:00 on 10/24/2023 (UTC), which will take about two hours.

According to the platform, trading digital assets/currencies on the Ethereum (ERC20) network will not be impacted during wallet maintenance.

Binance also highlighted that its users should pay attention to deposits and withdrawals on the Ethereum (ERC20) network, which will be suspended from 10/24/2023 at 06:55 (UTC).

At the time of publication, the price of Ethereum was quoted at US$1,608.00, up 3.6% in the last 24 hours. During this period, the second largest cryptocurrency on the market recorded a trading volume of US$9,478,042,230.

In a strong recovery movement in the market, Ethereum has seen a growth in its price of 4.1% in the last seven days.

The platform analysis cryptocurrency exchange, IntoTheBlock, highlighted that this week, the largest cryptocurrencies on the market, Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) recorded almost US$200 million in outflows from centralized exchanges, indicating investor buying activity.
