Billionaire and BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes recently shared a bullish prediction for the price of Bitcoin (BTC). Is the price of the biggest cryptocurrency going to the moon? In a recent conversation with Crypto Banter’s Ran Neuner, Hayes predicted that Bitcoin will break its price record this year.
In his prediction, Hayes highlighted his belief that the price of Bitcoin will reach the $70,000 level in 2024, which would see the cryptocurrency break its 2021 record. “Definitely optimistic this year, I believe Bitcoin will reach its all-time high of $70,000 by the end of the year,” Hayes said.
During the conversation, the co-founder of BitMEX highlighted the crisis in American banks, emphasizing that the Federal Reserve (Fed) will need to print money in an attempt to save them, which would cause the dollar to lose purchasing power.
“The banking system in the US is screwed. All banks are insolvent,” she said. “They [Fed] They don’t want to print money, but they also need to save the banking system,” added Hayes.
Bitcoin at $1 million?
Recently, Arthur Hayes shared a mind-blowing prediction for the price of the largest cryptocurrency on the market, Bitcoin (BTC). While again highlighting his belief in Bitcoin, Hayes emphasized that Bitcoin could see a huge jump to be worth $1 million. In a post on his official account, the co-founder of BitMEX highlighted a comment related to the problems of the New York Community Bank (NYCB), which is on the verge of collapse.
“Oh dear… From trash to bankruptcy, this is the future. And then more money printer goes brrrr. $BTC = $1mm,” Hayes wrote.
At the time of publication, the price of Bitcoin was quoted at US$48,097.30, up 1.9% in the last 24 hours. During this period, the cryptocurrency recorded a trading volume of US$20,916,433,688. Over the past seven days, the cryptocurrency has seen an increase in its price of 13.5%.
