Renowned cryptocurrency analyst Ali Martinez shared an analysis on the cryptocurrency Ethereum (ETH) on December 1st.

According to the analyst, Ethereum is issuing a sell signal in a key resistance zone and, if this signal is validated, the price of ETH could fall to $2,000.

“TD Sequential’s track record speaks for itself! Its accuracy in predicting $ETH price movements on the 4-hour chart is noteworthy. It is currently issuing a sell signal at a key resistance level. If this signal holds true, we could see #ETH pulling back and heading towards $2,000,” he wrote.

At the time of publication, the price of Bitcoin was quoted at US$2,080.85, up 2.3% in the last 24 hours. In the last 30 days, the second largest cryptocurrency on the market has shown very significant growth, increasing its price by 15.7%.

A recent analysis shared by the Santiment platform noted that the largest Ethereum wallets continue to form an encouraging pattern.

“Exchange wallets now down to 6-month lows (8.03 million $ETH) and non-exchange wallets rising to an all-time high (41.03 million $ETH). More and more coins continue to be transferred into self-custody,” reported.

Optimistic Predictions for Bitcoin and Ethereum

A recognized cryptocurrency analyst, Michaël van de Poppe, shared with followers on a popular social media platform his optimistic view on the near future of Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH). He believes both are preparing for significant market moves.

As for Ethereum, van de Poppe is equally optimistic. Thus, he predicts a “massive breakout” for ETH, breaking out of an 18-month trading range. “If there is a drop towards the US$1,800 to US$1,900 region, this is an area to enter”, advised the analyst. He estimates that after this breakout, targets for Ethereum could range between $3,100 and $3,600.
