Misyon Bank launches tokenization platform on Avalanche

Misyon Bank, a well-known Turkish investment bank and pioneer among the country’s neobanks, recently announced the launch of its innovative real asset tokenization platform on the Avalanche network. The initiative was revealed on June 5th and marks a significant advance in the field of cryptocurrencies, especially in the tokenization process.

This new platform is described by the bank as an “end-to-end bank-guaranteed tokenization solution”. It allows diverse institutions, from banks to investment companies, to tokenize and distribute assets to investors around the world. The range of assets that can be tokenized is vast, including bonds, funds, company shares and even real estate.

Misyon Bank CEO Önder Halisdemir highlighted the importance of this platform for the global market: “The Misyon tokenization platform will provide a global investor base with seamless access to a variety of underlying investments with just a few clicks. This solution is ready to be leveraged by any bank or investment institution.”

Misyon Bank also brought innovations by making corporate Eurobonds and tokenized Turkish sovereign bonds available to retail investors through the new platform. “By offering tokenized Eurobonds to individuals, the platform allows investors to diversify and protect their investments from currency devaluation, while benefiting from the stability of euro-denominated assets,” explained the financial institution.

Lamine Brahimi, co-founder and managing partner of Taurus, which will provide custody services for the platform, reinforced the security of the operation: “The Misyon Tokenization Platform ensures that all tokenized Eurobonds are protected at the highest level. Taurus’ advanced custody technology provides robust protection [e] Every interaction with Avalanche smart contracts also remains secure through our integrated asset maintenance mechanism.”

At the time of publication, the price of AVAX was quoted at US$36.69, up 3% in the last 24 hours.
