How much will Bitcoin cost in 2025? Analysts recently reaffirmed their projection of Bitcoin’s price reaching US$200,000 in 2025. Gautam Chhugani and Mahika Sapra, analysts at Bernstein, maintained the recent update of BTC’s target of US$200,000 by the end of 2025, according to information shared by The Block, on June 19.

Recently, analysts highlighted the increase in the target price in their forecast for Bitcoin going from US$150,000 to US$200,000 by the end of 2025. The forecast was based on the momentum that Bitcoin is expected to have amid the great demands of funds exchange-traded funds (ETFs) based on spot Bitcoin and the marginal production cost of miners of the largest cryptocurrency on the market.

According to the publication, analysts highlighted, on June 19, the recently released price targets, further stating that Bitcoin in the current range of US$60,000 is equivalent to the value below US$10,000 registered in June 2020, in a similar interval after the bitcoin halving.

The experts added in their report by highlighting that, despite the 53% increase in the largest cryptocurrency, in the range of US$42,000 at the beginning of the year, the moment may still be the beginning of the cycle.

“The change this time is the visibility of institutional demand driven by ETFs and the organizational marketing push of major asset managers, for example, Blackrock with $20 billion AUM for Bitcoin ETFs saw the opportunity and will likely see visibility for a potential $80-100 billion crypto deals over the cycle,” they wrote. “We believe asset managers have every incentive to put more pressure on marketing and distribution to grow their crypto businesses.”
